Church Reordering Consultation
In 2016 various people kindly left the church £40k in their wills. The PCC felt this should be invested in our plant and building for ourselves and future generations to enjoy. In light of this the PCC had many discussions and employed an architect Stephanie Willcox to help us move forward. At this stage in the process Stephanie has been encouraging us to think through both the problems we have with the building as it is and what things we would like to see.
The Rector and wardens felt this was really something the whole congregation should be involved with and
Stephanie came and met the congregation on Sunday 5th February after church. She gave a short presentation
and handed out a questionnaire to help guide us. This is the listening part of the process. The fruit of this consultation and
notes already prepared by the PCC will be guiding Stephanie as she then begins to plan improvements. At a later date her
plans and drawings will be presented to the congregation for our consideration, thoughts and support.
With 300 people on the electoral roll please bear in mind that we will all have to compromise and that prayer and good
listening will really help!
