RAISE THE ROOF
Work has started on our roof. We are very grateful for all those who donated. Work will be going on for about 6 weeks.
Bare with us as the north side of the Church building will look a bit like a construction site.

About the Raise the Roof Project
In our parish we are blessed with a beautiful 12th century, grade 1 listed church building of which we can justly be proud. Whether you are part of our regular congregation or only use the building on special family occasions such as weddings, baptisms or funerals, I’m sure you will agree that to lose such an asset would be devastating.
Our architect’s inspection revealed that the tiles on the north face of the nave roof require replacing. Acting now will save us from bigger and more expensive consequences such as damp and dry rot. The cost of this project come in at £75,000. With your generosity and funding we have raised this amount and work has started. We expect the finish date to be by May 2022.

Although we have raised enough funds for the roof project. There are plenty of other building projects that are need of funding. Whether it's small maintenance upkeep or larger construction work. Your support is greatly appreciated.
